This 1972 Les Paul weighs 8.13 pounds. That’s not a typo.
I put the condition as “ very good “to be conservative, but you could call it “excellent” and not be off if you were comparing to a “closet classic” relic. I bought this guitar from a pro dealer when I had some extra money because I love original vintage Les Paul deluxes and this is the lightest one I’ve ever seen. It does not disappoint. It plays great, sounds great, and has been lovingly cared for and played for its entire existence. It has a pro refret. It has two new pots, it has new original style tuners. It has a relic tailpiece replacement for the original (they lose their chrome plating and become razor sharp finger-hazards). Everything else is original.
This '98 Fender Tele-Sonic was owned and played by Sheryl Crow guitarist Peter Stroud. He played it on many television performances at the time and also at Woodstock '99. See attached photo. I got interested in this model because of seeing him play this one and ended up buying the very guitar from him! It has been lightly used and professionally cared for.
